Atta Chakuli/Sweet whole wheat dosa

A quick & healthy breakfast/snacks recipe


Atta chakuli is a quick , easy & healthy breakfast recipe of Odisha.The batter is prepared with whole wheat ,ripe banana , sugar & flavored with black pepper & crushed fennel seed .

Preparation Time: 5~10 min

Cooking Time: 15~20 min

Total time: 20~30 min


Ingredients

  • Atta/Whole wheat - 1~1.5 cup

  • Banana(ripe) - 1 large

  • Sugar - 3~4 tbsp

  • Salt - 1/4 tsp

  • Black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp

  • Fennel seed (crushed) - 1/2 tsp

  • Ghee /oil for cooking


Procedure

Step 1

In a bowl add atta,sugar,salt,black pepper powder,crushed fennel seed .

by adding some water make a batter .

Step 2

Add banana and mash it properly

The batter should not be too much liquidy.

Step 3

Heat a tawa/dosa pan on low to medium heat & brush some ghee

Step 4

Spread 1 ladle full of batter on the tawa & cook it on medium~low flame .

Apply few drops of ghee on top of it .

When it cooked from one side flip it & cook from other side .


In this way prepare all chakuli/dosa & serv hot .
