Chicken Lollipop
A yummy succulent appetizer

Chicken Lollipop is a spicy appetizer prepared with chicken winglet, where meat is cut loose from the bone & push down to give a lollipop shape .This is one of our most favorite appetizer .Today I am going to share with you a simple way of making this succulent chicken lollipop recipe .
Preparation time: 45 min (including marination time)
Cooking Time: 20 min
Total time: Aprox 1 hr
Ingredients
Chicken lollipop - 400 gm (9 piece)
All purpose flour - 1/2 cup
Corn flour - 1/4 cup
Crushed ginger & garlic - 1 tsp each
Soy sauce - 1 tsp for batter
Beet root juice - 1/2 tbsp for good colour (optional)
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Choped garlic - 1/2 tbsp & little more
Spring onion green - 1~2 tbsp (optional)
For sauce mixture
Red chilli paste - 1.5~2 tbsp( soak 8~10 red chilli in warm water for 1/2 hr by removing some seed ,can store remaining paste in refrigerator )
Red chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce - 2~2.5 tbsp
Vinegar - 1 tsp
Soy sauce - 1 tsp
Procedure
Step 1
Wash & clean chicken lollipop & remove all excess water completely.

Step 2
Prepare a batter by adding flour,kashmiri red chilli powder, black pepper powder,crushed ginger & garlic , soy sauce & salt

The batter should not be to thick or thin .

Now add beet root juice for good colour



Step 3
Mix chicken lollipop & keep it in refrigerator or at normal room temperature for 30~40 minute .

Step 4
At that time prepare the sauce mixture & chop garlic & spring onion . You can taste the sauce mixture & can adjust according to taste & adjust the spice level .If you have szechuan sauce you can add insted of red chilli paste .

Step 5
After 30~40 minute heat oil in a kadai or pan.

When oil is hot enough fry the lollipop till golden on low~medium flame .


Step 6
After frying all lollipop keep it aside & remove all excess oil . Keep only 1~2 tsp of oil .

Saute choped garlic on low flame do not brown the garlic.

Add some spring onion green & saute it for few second .

Add sauce mixture & mix well .

Add few spoon of water(1.5~2 tbsp) to the sauce mixture & mix well . If you want you can add very few amount of water

Step 6
Now to the sauce mixture add fried lollipop .Mix well & let it coat well with the sauce.

Sprinkle some choped spring onion & now chicken lollipop is ready to be served .
