Choco Coconut Laddu

A quick desert for chocolate lover

Who does not love chocolate !!!!!!!!! From kids to elders everybody like chocolate .So this Ganesh chaturthi I decided to prepare some coconut laddu by adding chocolate .

Preparation time: 20 min

Cooking Time: 5~10 min

Total time: 25 ~30 min


  • Coconut -1or 2.5 cup of desiccated coconut

  • Chocolate - 3/4~1cup

  • Condensed milk - 2 tbsp

  • Almond- 20~25

  • Cashew -10


Step 1

Break one fresh coconut &remove the coconut kernel from the shell .

Peel the outer brown skin using a peeler .

Step 2

Cut them in to small piecess & grind it without adding any water .

Step 3

Dry roast the coconut on low flame till become dry, & make sure tp prevent it getting brown.Should be white in colour. So the flame should be on very low flame .

Now desiccated coconut is ready . You can use store bought desicated coconut also .

Step 4

Coarsly grind almond & cashew . You can also use pistachio .

Step 5

Keeping 1/2 cup aside mix 2 cups of desiccated coconut with coarse dry fruit .

Step 6

Now melt chocolate by double boiling method ( keeping chocolate bowl on top of a sauce pan with boiling water) .

Step 7

Now add condensed milk & mix .

Step 8

Add desiccated coconut mixture & mix well .

Step 9

Make laddu from it . Coat the laddu with remaining desiccated coconut .

Now Choco Coconut Laddu is ready , keep it in refrigerator for 1~2 hour to set & then serve .
