A delicious Indian paneer gravy recipe
Palak paneer is basically paneer cubes cooked in a thick & smooth spinach gravy.Palak paneer can be goes well with roti,paratha or nan.

Total time: 30~35 min.
Ingredients (3 servings)
Paneer-300 ~330 grm
Palak/spinach- 250 grm
Corriender leaf- 1/2 hand full
Onion-1 medium size
Tomato-1 medium size
Ginger- 1/2 inch
Garlic- 5~6 medium size
Green chilli - 2
Cumin seed -1/2 tsp
Asafoetida - 1 pinch
Turmeric powder- 1 pinch
Garam masala-1/2 tsp
Corriende powder- 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder-1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil/butter- 1 tbsp
If you have kept paneer in fredge and the paneer is slightly hard then keep the paneer in some hot water to make it soft. Then cut it in to slightly big cubes.
Wash the spinach leaf properly & blanch it.(Boil some water,when water start boiling add some salt and spinach leaf and let it for 2 minute.Then strain it and rinse with some cold water.
Chop tomato,onion,ginger & garlic.
Heat oil/butter in a pan/kadai,add cumin seed and bay leaf.Let the cumin seed splutter.
Add chopped onion,ginger,garlic and green chilli. Saute till the onion becone translusent.
Add tomato and cashew.Saute it
Add all powder masala(turmeric,corriender,cumin & garam masala powder), and salt. cook it till tomato become soft.
Let the tomato,onion masala cool for 5 minut .Now blend the blanched palak,corriender leaf and masala all together.Make a fine paste.
Transfer the paste to the kadai,add some water to the grinder and pour the water in the kadai so thate no puree will waste ,add salt to taste .cook for 4~5 more minute and add some grated paneer.(2~3 cubes grated)
Now add paneer cubes and stir gently.Cook for 2 minute in low flame.
Now palak paneer is ready to be served.
