Prawn Masala (dry)
A simple & deliious seafood recipe

When it comes to seafood , prawns are our all time favorite. Today I am going to share with you a simple & delicious prawn recipe.This recipe is quick & easy to prepare .This prawn masala taste great with rice .
Preparation time: 15 min
Cooking Time: 25~30 min
Total time: 35~ 45 min
Ingredients
Prawn - 500 gm
Onion choped -2 large
Ginger garlic paste/grated - 1 tbsp
Tomato - 2 medium
Corriender leaf
Greeen chilli -2
Cinnamon stick - 1 medium
Clove - 3~4
Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder to taste
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Corriender powder - 1.5~2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Mustard oil for cooking
Procedure
Step 1
Wash prawns properly & remove all excess water .

Add some salt,red chilli powder & turmeric powder .Mix well & keep aside for 10~15 min


Step 2
At that time chop onion, tomato . Keep everything ready .

Step 3
Heat some oil in a kadai,when mustard oil comes to the smoking point fry the prawns till golden.



Step 4
After frying all prawns with the same oil we will prepare the masala . If you want you can add some oil. In total 2~2.5 tbsp of oil is required to prepare masala .

When oil is hot enough add clove & cinnamon stick .

After that add cumin seed & let it crackle .

Step 5
Add choped onion & saute on low~medium flame till it becomes slightly golden


Add ginger garlic paste/grated & saute till raw smell go away


Step 6
Add choped tomato & green chilli .Mix well

Add some salt,& all spice powder except cinnamon powder .Mix it well.

Cover it for few minute so thate tomato will become soft easily .

Add some water & cook for few more minute so that tomato will mix complitly & will look like thick gravy.

Step 7
Now add fried prawns,salt as per taste & mix well.

Cover it for few minute & let it cook.

Step 8
Finialy add cinnamon powder & choped corriender leaf .Cover it for 5 minute.After 5 minute remove the lid & mix well .

Now simple & easy prawn masala is ready to be served.
